A LoRa APRS IGate (Internet Gateway) passes all packets heard on RF to APRS-IS. APRS-IS (Automatic Packet Reporting System – Internet Service) is a live stream of APRS traffic worldwide. Sites like APRS.fi and display the location of iGates and trackers. In the future, LoRa APRS Bi-directional iGates will pass all message packets destined for local stations to RF.
