For most editors, holding the Shift keyboard button and left-clicking the mouse will extend the selected text area to where the mouse is clicked (to the start|end of the clicked word boundary - e.g. clicking in the middle of the word extends the selection to the end of that word).
FYI, I use the Linux warp version.
