For some use case like envoyproxy/ratelimit, it supports only "single instance, sentienl and cluster" three type of redis. However, we only have "standalone and replication" type to choose for valkey architecture.

With a view to implementing Valkey to fit for ratelimit use case, it will be great if Valkey can support and provide option for "cluster" type.

We have cluster mode. Are you sure it's not just disabled in configuration?

I think I found out why it don't have cluster mode. I am using valkey bitnami helm chart and currently only support "standalone" and "replication" type of architecture, where in the helm chart we do not have option to enable the "cluster" mode of redis. I do try use redis-cli and saw the cluster is just disabled. Sorry for misunderstanding that cluster type is not supported. Hope the helm chart version of valkey will support "cluster" architecture in near future.

Ok, then you should report this at the bitnami repo instead.
