Add support for pelican, a python static website generator ?

pelican is this: https://github.com/getpelican/pelican

Static site generator that supports Markdown and reST syntax. Powered by Python.

As it supports markdown syntax, it could be interesting to support as another rendering engine than Hugo. This could be interesting for Python community and maybe also R community.

Possible that this is not to complex to add.
