Thank you putting together this summary, I do really appreciate it (and sorry for ignoring your email). I have been struggling to keep up with any maintenance work in polybar. So, expect progress here to keep being pretty slow in the future and only more critical or sought-after things to get attention. |

As a one-man-show, I imagine @patrick96 has some difficulty keeping up with all of the activity in this repo. Many of the newest Issues and Pull Requests have had a tendency to cloud the important PRs that have been hanging out in the backlog for quite some time.
In the hopes of lending a hand, I went ahead and created a categorized list PRs.
Some of these PRs are 7 years old, but are still actively used by community members maintaining Frankenstein forks, that ultimately fragment the community around
polybar
.I've categorized each of the PRs with the following labels:
Stale PRs can probably be closed, and if they're still needed, can always be reopened later 👍
The hotly-anticipated PRs are ones that have been seemingly approved, ready to be merged, and/or have a decent level of community activity in them hoping for a merge.
Hot PRs Summary
Listed in chronological order.
6-7 Years Old (2017 + 2018)
Many of these PRs were contributions by the late @Lomadriel, who departed Github nearly 3 years ago on Aug 6, 2020 🙇
