The above library generates barcode images.Will in future pdfcpu utilize this and add barcode to pdf

I am aware there are many standards.

Please describe the particular use case you are interested in together with the bar code standard best suited.

You can always generate a PNG for your bar code and then stamp your PDF pages:
eg. by using pdfcpu stamp add
