✨ Discourse as a Comment System

I prefer using BlowFish over HugoBlox (WowChemy) because:

• the doc of BlowFish is more straight forward
• TailWind is at his core
• ... (this is not the point) ...

I prefer using OpenSource over ...:

• allow more control on privacy for me and my visitor
• ... (this is not the point) ...

using Hugo over WordPress, Ghost, .... because:

• Performance = SEO
  • here I post who explain it more than I could
• Security = leave it for hundred year the result will be the same
• ... (this is not the point) ...

Describe the solution you'd like

Lately I discovered that; theorically (I'm only an old Linux SysAdmin) it would be possible to use Discourse as:

• comment system (like WowChemy may proposed before HugoBlox)
• as a headless and contribution system for posting

Describe alternatives you've considered

to replace Discourse: I considered Disqus, Discord, Commento, ...

• but as I want to build a private community in long term they are not viable
  • Only maybe NodeBB; but I did'nt found persistant developper on the subject

to replace Hugo : I considered Ghost, Wordpress, ...

• but I'm very tired of hosting a complete CMS for delivering static pages.
• and Directus is too abstract for me and my users.
• A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
