I know is_watertight checks if every edge is connected to two faces only. Which I have a hollowed out sphere inside a cube. The extracted sphere is watertight as well as the cube. But the hollowed out sphere inside is obviously no longer watertight.
Or is it? Is it possible to have a watertight hollowed object?
The STL file of the object: hollow_sphere_in_cube.txt
The extracted vertices and indices hollow_sphere_in_cube_trimesh.txt
