Resize an image with markdown

Can this be added to the tranquilpeak theme, as an enhancement please ?

Recently I was attempting to use shortcodes and other methods from this theme (https://github.com/kakawait/hugo-tranquilpeak-theme ), all to no avail. The only image resizing is the automatic thumbnail resizing , display at the TOC.

@jmooring (https://github.com/jmooring) has solved the problem listed at https://discourse.gohugo.io/t/resize-an-image-with-markdown/34833/12 , and also supplied the necessary code. All done with markdown render hooks at https://github.com/jmooring/hugo-testing/tree/hugo-forum-topic-34833

The extended version of Hugo is required.
