Normally, I would have no problems when switching Python interpreter versions, but with IPython the autocomplete dictionary fails to operate when switching versions of the Python interpreter from /usr/bin/python3 to /usr/bin/python3.12 or to any other version. On my host system (Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS), my IPython interpreter defaults to /usr/bin/python3.10 as python3 is the symlink to python3.10 in said directory /usr/bin/. Although there may or may not be a clear indicator of an error, the autocompletion feature of the interpreter fails when a non-native Python interpreter version is recognized.
