QuestionHi guys, just wondering is there a way to deactivate/delete element based on material property? for example, if porosity of this element = 1, then don't solve/ignore this element in the system (mimic the excavation) I checked Thank you! |

You can add a new object, or you can convert a material property to an auxiliary variable with an MaterialRealAux for example then use the current way
CoupledVarThresholdElementSubdomainModifier
is exactly how we do this currently. You re-assign the elements you do not care to solve on to a block which does not have any kernels / equations defined onGuillaume
