Current Behavior

apt-get'ing i3lock from i3's Debian/Ubuntu repos installs 2.14:

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sur5r-i3.list
deb http://debian.sur5r.net/i3/ jammy universe

$ apt-cache policy i3lock
i3lock:
  Installed: 2.14.1-1~~jammy1
  Candidate: 2.14.1-1~~jammy1
  Version table:
 *** 2.14.1-1~~jammy1 500
        500 http://debian.sur5r.net/i3 jammy/universe amd64 Packages

I don't think debian.sur5r.net is official of i3 upstream, they only provide source code releases.

The repo you're using is likely run by some random person.

@sur5r is not a random person and the repository is mentioned in https://i3wm.org/docs/repositories.html. @stapelberg I am not sure if we consider it "official".

I'm well aware that i3lock 2.15 has been released. I've been rather busy with work related things during the last weeks. i3lock will be updated, both in Debian itself and in my repo.

Thanks for updating it! And take your time. Users who really need v2.15 urgently will figure out how to build it themselves :)
