Difference between this project and i3-gnome-flashback?

What is the difference between this project and https://github.com/deuill/i3-gnome-flashback. I see that i3-gnome-flashback is largely based on this project, I'm just curious if you had any insight on the use cases for each project.

• Starts gnome-flashback with session, gnome-flashback is added to RequiredComponents in session file.
• Use i3-GNOME-Flashback as desktop name.
• Installs GSettings override file to change few default settings.
