Add i3 solo back to /usr/share/xsessions? #17

I am fairly new to all of this so everything is mostly trial and error for me at the moment. I should have known better than to not back-up i3.desktop prior to deleting it but alas, here I am. KDE seems cool, but I am more into tinkering with config files at the moment than pointing and clicking at the desktop. So can someone point me in the direction of somewhere to learn how to build one of these files? I tried copying what I found in the plasma.desktop and the i3plasma one, but I don't think I did it right. It shows up on the login screen but trying to login displays a flashing cursor on a black screen for a few seconds and then kicks me straight back to the login screen. Here is how it currently looks:

Scratch that. I don't know why I thought i3-dmenu-desktop was the proper binary to point to, but switching that to i3 worked. I saw desktop in the name and figured that was the file I needed. Ignore the noob, carry on. |
