kable_save to pdf with custom width?

I am using kableextra version 1.3.4. kable_save doesn't seem to allow setting a custom width and therefore my table is cropped in the output pdf file. I was trying to use graphics_dev function to set width and height but it is not currently exported.

The function in kableExtra is called save_kable. Could you post a reproducible example of the problem? save_kable works in a lot of different ways, so it's not clear where you're having problems.
