BRep meshing settings change KO

Hello,

I found a potential issue:
1- Import a STEP file (with default brep meshing settings)
2- Export as STL
3- Go in options, then select a finer mesh settings
4- Click on export STL again (new name)

the second STL file has same size as previous one (should be larger)
5- Close model, and import STEP again
6- Export as STL
now the new STL file is larger.

Expected result:
no need to close/reopen model for taking mesh settings into account.
