Question

Hi, is it possible to start the noVNC server in view-only mode? I need this feature to share my Windows screen with multiple users without granting them control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you click the settings icon in noVNC, you can enable the view-only mode. Or you can add view_only=true to the URL for example.

But this is a client-side setting, it is not a security measure because people can just revert that setting or change the URL.

As far as I know, there does not exist a server-side setting in VNC to do the same.
