@Gkirito Any pull requests are welcome and will be handled as soon as possible.
There is a PR #605 to support mermaid code block, but which is not best practice.
Since markdown diagrams and code block render hooks have been supported since Hugo v0.93.0, I'm planning to bump the minimum required Hugo version of this theme to support diagram rendering of code block, including mermaid and others.

I'm not sure whether an official group chat exist created by the repo owner, since no active replies are seen from the owner for a long while but he still stated the theme will be kept up maintaining. Or would you mind start up one for users easy discuss on the theme by any chances?
