Would it be possible to display in addition to the name string also the current index of the workspace? This would be useful to me in order to use a tool like Yabai to look up which key combination I should press to jump to the correct workspace. Note that it doesn't work to add the index manually, because then it breaks once you start to reorder your workspaces.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean, can you add an image mock of what this would look like?

Normally I see: "Desktop 1", "Desktop 2", and so on. When I set the name of "Desktop 1" to "Write", I would then like that it says "1:Write" in mission control.

PS: This is pretty low priority, as I am not sure if I will continue to use macOS.

I have actually switched to using macOS permanently now, because I'm sick of configuring Xmonad for hundreds of hours. So this feature would actually be pretty useful for me. Do you think this would be very hard to implement? Also did my explanation of what I mean make sense to you?

Bump. This would be useful to me. How hard would this to do?

@johannesCmayer I believe PRs are welcomed!

I might think about it, but I am more of a Linux person. I mainly use my Mac for writing. So I expect this would take an unusually long long for me to implement.

It makes sense!
@dado3212 Would you provide instructions for developing on this application? Like setup for dev.
