Similar to what has been reported outside this discussion forum, also experienced the same issue; “ I have two meshes that I'm trying to align in MeshLab but can't for some reason. I've used "point based gluing" and chose (in may case 10 pairs). The meshes align almost, but I cannot get it to process.
The failure is: "Failure. No successful arc among candidate Alignment arcs. Nothing Done."
I will try to find the source code for this and keep trying to solve it. Otherwise , stuck here atm. Any suggestions?

if one of the meshes in the pair has a lower quality (eg: noisy or incomplete or slightly distorted), pressing Process fails for me. If this is not the case, it works from my experience. So the question is perhaps about how to ensure both meshes have an adequate quality standard? So far, changing the parameters of this tool did not help much without upgrading anything else.
