Auto Scan folder

I enjoy the software and it works great.
I am trying to setup a scan folder that will scan in and OCR out I saw the discussion 989 titled setup auto scan folder and ocr new PDF.
I copied and updated the docker compose file and the json file. I have the json file in my scan_in folder and below are the contents of the two files. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but I left a file in the scan_in folder over night and it never moved to the scan_ocr folder. any help would be great. Thank you

looks like a hidden mac thing.. will try handle this in some way in future... but apparently you can remove it your side

I will see what I can do. thank you for the direction. I will update this thread if I find a fix.

I was able to fix the issue by deleting the extra created file ._OCR.json once it was gone all the files started to process. Thank you for all the help.

"deleting the extra created file ._OCR.json" where did this come from, what folder? i dont see it in your screenshot

It is a file that is created by my Mac when an Apple device transfers to a non native drive. I went into the Linux command line and did a ls -a and saw all the extra files in the SMB shared folder.

@Frooodle How do I make the files go to a different folder i.e. scan_ocr not the finished folder?

should be able to change the 'outputDir' in json file, if that doesnt work it might be bug

No just standard text.

that exact OCR.json file works fine on my system with nothing wrong..... which is what makes me think its the filename or something.. hmmm no white spaces in filename or anything?
