Hi, I've been using this extension for years and I guess I finally selectively turned off dark mode for enough websites that I went over the 512 sync item limit and now always get this prompt whenever I try to selectively enable/disable dark mode from a new website:
I know it suggests using local storage, but I'd like to have everything synced across Chrome browsers—is there any way around this to getting a larger number of site settings syncable? Could one item be changed to fit more data to bypass this?

Then you would probably be limited by size - they have a lot of different limits...
I would recommend to change the way how you use settings. For example if you are disabling it for most of the websites then just disable it by default and only enable for those you need it.
