Expected behavior

Saving and restoring settings should be a simple process for users. Clearing settings is a standard troubleshooting process but there is no simple process to restore them.

Observed behavior

Save Restore Settings is a complex process. For example, in Windows it is stored in the Registry: https://forum.librecad.org/local-settings-td5711509.html

Steps to reproduce or sample file

Options, Application Preferences, Defaults - Clear Settings All

Operating System and LibreCAD version info

All, eg:

Version: 2.2.1_alpha-295-g678e9d70
Compiler: GNU GCC 13.2.0
Compiled on: Sep 28 2023
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 Version 2009
