When I try to load file program just close itself. What should I do? How do I use this tool?

Hello,
it simply means that this version ETS2 is not supported yet and that you should make a manual save, then edit that one and then load that save so you don't damage anything in case something goes wrong.

However, I had no issues with that version - I just clicked confirm on the warning and it loaded as expected.
What exactly happens when you try and load a file?

Thank you for your answer! I manually save the game and then want to edit with this tool the exact same save file. What is happening? At the bottom, in the status bar of the program, I see that it says - first that it is decoding the data, and then that it is loading the data. And while loading the data, the program just closes. That's it, unfortunately.
